I was carefully measuring the weight of the newly dried grain at the farm where I work. In order to get a proper moisture reading, I had to weigh out exactly 250 grams of grain. Watching the balance closely I dropped in a couple more kernels. Swiftly the balance righted itself, stopping just below the mark. I dropped one more kernel on and the arrow moved up to the 250 mark. Just one kernel made the difference!! Barely any weight by itself, but when added to the rest of the grain it made the difference between an accurate reading and an improper measurement.
Perhaps God is calling you to make a difference in the lives of those around you. You may think you're small and insignificant. Just one person among so many. Why would you matter?
Then again, why wouldn't you?
